I'm looking to buy a boring & turning tool set. Looking for a set that has the indexable tips. I'm running a 9 x 20 lathe and need tools that will last a little longer then the pre ground tools. Now the other day I was reading a machinist magazine and saw a company that makes these tools and were at an affordable cost. Any thoughts or suggestions ?? http://www.cdcotools.com/ http://www.cdcotools.com/ http://www.shars.com/ http://www.shars.com/product_categor...ble+boring+bar |

| I've used tools from Shars, Cdco, and Enco (mostly from Enco since usually have free shipping for orders over $50; $25 this month). Have been pleased with all. I look for best pricing as all seem to have basically same tools. I use almost all index inserts. Find can get as good finish as with HSS. Good Luck. |
