Hello, I have an opportunity to buy a South Bend Magnaturn 612 cnc lathe. This is an enclosed, benchtop, slantbed lathe with a programmable tool turret. Includes Ultrapath II software. l looked at the machine, seems mechanically sound, but the owner could not get the y axis to home. He had someone running it for him but he was gone. I'm very familiar with CNC machining but know nothing more about this unit. Can anybody provide info...good or bad. Thanks, Bob    |
