I know very little about lathes, other than I want an need one. I am looking at a shop fox 9x19 lathe. Or a metal max 9x20. which is better. the price is about the same

| yes, i found one of those for around 1100 on ebay. are they superior. Besides being larger? Are there any hobbist lathes that have the capability of having the stock go through the chuck. FOr oversize pieces
