I am trying to find out which lathe is better. The MICROLUX 7x14 ($600 / 90 lbs) or the LATHEMASTER 8X14 ($750 / 190 lbs). For $150 more the lathemaster seems to be a lot more heavy duty. The MICROLUX does have a variable-speed motor. Thanks Wahid |

| The Lathemaster has alot more mass to it, you can add features later like var. sp motor. Also the lathemaster comes with accesories steady and following rest etc. Al.
