    Enco Lathe

Ok, I know I've seen the link out here.... but I can't find it to save my life!!!! where can I go to get the Plastic gear on the 9X20 enco lathe ?? It wiped out on me the other day.... too much usage I guess....... or is there a metal equivalent out there ?

    thanks,
    arthur

You should also have the metal gear with the Enco kit. I have it with mine. You can use it until you call Enco and order another one. The plastic one is there for safety reasons
    Thanks

Ah, now that you mentioned it, yes it is there..... thanks!! Enco just replied to my email.... $30.00!!!! for that plastic gear ?? I just assume make it out of aluminum, a little more rigid, but will still wipe out in the event of a jam up.

    thanks,
