| Does anyone have a Sieg lathe, DigiSpeed running on any CNC software? I have mine wired up, works fine in manual and my software seems to control the DigiSpeed board just fine but I can't get the spindle to turn on. Bill |

| Bill, did you have any luck getting the Digispeed working with your lathe? I have the Grizzly 7x12 mini-lathe and have the opposite problem you had, my spindle runs full speed all the time until I cut the power to it. The lights on the Digispeed work as expected and react to the Mach3 signals, but the spindle just runs full blast. It seems that something is hooked up wrong, but using a mult-meter have determined the P1, P2 & P3 lines are correct. Anyone out there have a Sieg mini-lathe running with the Digispeed? Tim

P1, P2 & P3 connect P1 from the manual pot to P3 on the Digispeed and P3 from the Digispeed to P1 on the speed control board connect P2 from the manual pot to P2 on the Digispeed and P3 from the Digispeed to P2 on the speed control board connect P3 from the manual pot to P1 on the Digispeed and P3 from the Digispeed to P3 on the speed control board Other than that, No, it does not want to work the way it should with my spindle motor drive. I've been trying to snag an KB Electronics KBIC-120 drive on ebay, Peter know for a fact that it works with that drive. |
