I am planning to get my feet wet with a 7x12 conversion. I have no problem with the mechanics, but don't know squat about the electronics. I need to know things like spindle control, limit switch wiring, relay wiring, ect. Can someone point me to some links or discussions where I might educate myself on these matters. I have a littlemachine shop mini and a 425 oz-in motor kit coming next week. Any help would be apreciated.
    Thanks
    Ray Ross

Check out Hossmachine Homepage. He has some good information on his conversion of a mini-mill. The electronics would be the same. Also, I think you will find those motors to be much bigger (power wise) then you need. For the mini-lathe you could probably get by with something in the 200 oz-in range and save some money for tools.
