    HF 7x10

Anyone considering a HF 7x10 now is the time to buy it. It is on sale for $349.99 with coupon code 97746036 until 4/8/11. Just thought I would throw it out there.

Very good price!! I got mine for like $320 a couple years ago, with a 20% off coupon (and before their price increase). Can't get that cheap very often.

Can you provide a link to their site? The price I see is $499.99.

There is no link that I could find. The coupon is in the Jan. Feb. edition of The Home Shop Machinist, page 42. It is a full page HF add. You should be able to use that coupon code online or with the 800 number.

I don't suppose you could use that 20% off coupon with the $349 coupon........ that would be like $280

They actually didn't used to have that disclaimer on their 20% off coupon, which is how I got my 7x10 cheap.
Now they're saying the regular price of the 7x10 is $599.99???? That lathe seems to go up a hundred bucks every time I see a price on it. Could swear the price was $499 a few months ago, which I considered a bit high. It's pushing way too close to 8x12 pricing, unless that's gone up proportionately.

On the web site the 7x10 is always on sale for $499.99 and the 8x12 is $699.99. I picked my 8x12 up a few years ago for around $350.00 when it was on sale plus a coupon. Now I wish I would have just bought a 12x36 or larger.

    That always happens... SIZE MATTERS!
Wen I was young, I spent most of my money on fast women, slow horses, and cheap booze. The rest of it I just wasted.

.... sez the guy with BIG machines!

What up Jon? Looks like my tour of duty to Laf came to a somewhat abrupt end last month.
I may be out on the weekend a couple more times, but nothing's on the schedule.

Sheesh.... lathe forum seems pretty dead here recently. I'll have to post my tool changer if I ever get around to finishing the mounting plate for it.
