    Default cnc lathe turret plans

I intend to either build this myself or have it machined elsewhere for my bridgemill if cost is within budget. Plans are as shown on web. Comments/ideas are welcome.

    Default Turret Plans

I have been looking at the Lathe Turret Plans on http://www.nwstp.com/jsm/turrett.pdf
As far as my mechanical understanding it still allright I would say that it is not going to work as it is drawn and shown in the general drawing.
The spindel cannot move to the left because it is against the housing. So the turret can not be locked while the subplate can't move.

I'm also looking to obtain the Turret Plans mentioned on
    http://www.issintl-inc.com/latheturret but my e-mails are'nt answered.

Any alternative to get hold of these plans?

I have a copy of the plans that you inquired about. Unfortunately the individual that sold them to me said to redirect anyone who was interested to him and his phone number is included at his site. As far as the "error" in the other plans several companies are bidding on it and no one questioned the movement.

looking over the pdf file above there is one problem I see in the drawing that needs to be corrected, the sub plate that the face plate mounts on shows a radial hole layout for the dowel pins that lock the face plate in position to the turret body of 2.5 inch radius , the mating holes in the turret body show 2.25 inch radius. I believe the 2.5 inch radius to be correct, the 2.25 inch radius is correct for the face plate to subplate mounting holes

Another tool changer plan can be found here at http://cnc-projects.de/. Click on the link that mentions "CNC-Revolver". I'll be using a modified version of this.

If you click the highlighted link. You'll download the files. You'll get SW files, DWG's and SAT's. The SW ones didnt work for me. But I could open the drawings just fine.

Dont need to know German to read numbers!
