    Default Grizzly G0602 or G0752

I am setting up a CNC Lathe and would like the community input. Since the G0752 has a 3Phase 1HP variable speed setup, will that easily interface with Mach3 and other software? Or should i just get the G0602 and upgrade the motor and add my own VFD system? Price is not a concern, its a matter of overall simplicity in integration and performance. Planning on using DMM ac servos and ball screw setup. Thanks!

Looks like Grizzly actually incorporated a VFD that you can use, the user manual for the VFD is 399 pages so I didn't read it all but the basic control is a 0-10V analog input which most control systems can be made to work with. It may have other advanced features but that is beyond what I'd be looking to do - the 0-10V is probably good enough. I say get the G0752 unless it may be a bit more expensive than doing it yourself but saves you trying to source the right frame motor and a VFD, plus shipping on both those parts.

I ended up getting the G0602 and upgrading to a better motor for the same cost, but now I need to get some kind of custom tool plate made for gang tool setup. My CNC setup will be the following:

    LATHE
    - G0602
    MOTOR - Leeson 1.5HP 3 Phase 3400RPM
    VFD - Hitachi NES1-0158B 2HP w/ panel update
    RAILS - Updated to Ballscrews

    SERVO - ClearPath SDSK-2321S-RLS
    PSU - ClearPath IPC-5

    ELECTRONICS
PoKeys 57E for Ethernet Core Board
    RJ45 to ClearPath Driver
    M16 - POKEYS Motion Motherboard for Mach4
    A31 - Latch Twist-Release E-Stop Button
    Rotary Encoder
    12mm Inductive Switch
    C48 -EXT_E-Stop & probe connector board
    Tormach Probe
MPG16 - CNC lathe control panel

Ummm.. so what's happening with the "build", or is there even a build ??
