Milltronics error 6 and 7

I finally got my Tree 330 powered up and it has some issues.

When I first power it up I get a ROM ERROR and then it goes away to:

ERROR 07
IIC Centurion IV
Version 66.45+

I think there is an ERROR 06 as well.

Does anybody know what these mean? Maybe where to start trying to fix them?

Error 7 indicates that the backup battery is dead.

Does naybody know what "Error 11 - T-Out" means?

Error 11: No tape in the tape reader when either read tape or write tape is executed.

JPA - thanks again for the help. Do you have a chart or something you are referring to?

Wonder how I get the machine to stop looking for something in the tape drive?
