hey guys, I've got a ML17 with a centurion V control that I was having a bunch of trouble with! i searched my way through this forum until I found out the answers to my problems! you guys are great! I do have ONE more issue. It appears that some of my SRAM is bad on the card. when I format it I get about 80% of the drive listed as bad sectors. I am able to get it up and running but I'm guessing this is going to limit the size of the programs I can run? not that this machine will see any complex programs. is there a way to swap out the SRAM without changing the whole card? |

| The Bad Sectors message is normal on most Simdisk cards. The Format command tries to format all the memory chip locations on the B:\ portion of the card; the error message comes from trying to format the empty sockets/locations. Only a few cards were fully populated with memory chips. |
