Need Help!- Centurion 5 won't run programs!!

Hi all!

I have a partner 5 knee mill and it has developed a problem. I go to run program and hit start. The computer says it is resolving the program/loading it to run but it stops loading and dosn't get to the bit where I hit cycle start.

All other machine functions work fine and it has run for 5 years with no problems before this problem.

Any ideas?

I am considering sending the computer to get it upgraded in hopes that it will fix the problem if that is what I have to resort to. Anyone know of a cheaper option than the $1600 Milltronics upgrade?

Yes, it makes no difference.

Try removing all of the programs from the machine memory other than the one you want to run, then see if it will load.

If it still wont, try to DNC the program from memory

I tried dnc from floppy.

I've now removed the control and I'm sending it to Milltronics if they can get back to me with some real technical info on what I get with an upgrade.
