Trying to rigid tap with a Cent 5 Partner 1. When the tap backs out, it usually pulls the part up and out of the vice a little. Any ideas? How does this machine run the tap cycle? What is the feedback to the controller? In the parameters it has "spindle encoder PPU" set to zero. Is there really no spindle encoder? Thanks! |

| Are you certain that your machine has the rigid tap option? If the spindle encoder PPU is set to 0, that usually means that you do not have the rigid tap feature. You will have to use soft tap (G84) with a compression tap holder. If you would like to know if the machine has the rigid tap option please call Milltronics @ 952.442.1401. |
