How to change backlash in Partner 1/cent 5?

Hi,

I'm new to Milltronics. I have an easy question. The backlash parameter is listed as P1022. In looking through the manual, I can't figure out what the syntax is for this or how/where to access it. My Y has around 0.001 of backlash which is okay, I can design parts around it, but I thought I'd try and tune it out. My experience is with retrofitting a couple of bridgeports for 3 axis control in Mach 3 so I'm new to the VMC thing. I appreciate the help!

This should be immediate. For backlash at least, I don't think you need to reboot to get the new setting to take effect. Some do, some don't.

Be very aware that messing with some parameters can render your control inoperable.

Great, thanks. That worked no problem. I had to change it from 0.0005 to 0.001, the other two axis were both set to 0 which is reassuring.
