    Milling with CAM on Milltonics

I have had some trouble with the milltronics!

Does anyone know why the machine don't like to cut right when i program with a cam system. It don't like it when cutter comp is on and starts cutting all kinds of whacked out lines instead of a circle.

Any help would be much appreciated !!!!

    Thanks

THAT HAPPENED TO ME AND I FOUND OUT THAT I NEEDED TO SET THE PARAMETER FOR 90 DEG CUTTER COMP TO "YES". I DON'T KNOW WHICH CONTROLLER YOU HAVE THOUGH. HOPE THIS HELPS.

You must turn off trig help when using a cam system, or you will get just the results you mentioned. Call milltronics for the parameter to do this on your control.

Depending if you have a mill or a lathe, the trig help can be turned off by editing the special flags parameter. This is a MISC parameter. For a mill edit the value to a 2. For a lathe, edit the value to a 3.
