G01 will not work with IPR

I have a Partner Lathe with a Cent V control (@1994-5). My parameter files were corrupted a couple of weeks ago and a whole slew of problems started. I did not have the original disk with the parm files and I lost a lot of pertinent info and had to get my local service techs involved. They were able to get me up and running - kind of. Everything works at this point except for some reason the machine will not act on a G01 in IPR mode but it works fine in IPM mode. Any ideas?
