Partner 1 rev G machine CMOS battery low

Just purchased this unit from a shop where it was working. Just powered it up and the screen has the following message, CMOS battery low. If I press F1 it takes me to the cmos screen. Not sure what to do. Or what the start up process is. I would appreciate any help. Thanks

You might want to replace that battery with the power on...so as not to lose parameters. I am not familiar with this control necessarily, but this is a typical requirement.

    cmos battery low

I have a 1988 Partner V w/Cent 4 control. I had to replace the battery on the circuit board. It looks like a "D" size battery, 3.6 volts. I think they are about $10.00 from McMaster -Carr
