I've got a VM-16 with Centurion 6 control.... we love it and keep it busy. Does anyone know of a simulator that can run on a desktop PC so we can tryout new programs. The control runs on a pretty basic 486 DOS platform, so I'm thinking a version of the code without the machine control shouldn't be a big deal. Anyone know of something like this? John |

| Hi John3 I haved used an old ver. with an old partner machine. If you have new employees I think it is well worth it,it is a little less scary messing up on a computer than wrecking the boss's new cnc machine. the program looks just like the controlor at the machine ,toolpaths and every thing works just like the machine. yon can even change some machine param's to see hoe it effects stuff. I learned a lot from the first one I used. Programs from the software can be put on a 3.5 floopy and the put into the machine to run an actual part. |
