    lost milltronics

The languages is diffrent from the Bridgeports and Kira's and every thing seems to run slower as well. I know the basics of this machine, and want to know how to write a program for pocket milling. The machine it self is used basicly for drilling. But I know that it is capable of so much more. The machine
    holds up to 20 tool's.

The control board can pull up diffrent modes for diffrent types of milling options. But it doesnt show any M codes or G codes in the programing thats where I get losted. It shows the X, Y, AND Z movements. I know this machine is older than dirt because it is so slow with all of its movements.

What type of control is used on that machine? What kind of milltronics are you using?

With my control, Centurion 6, I would first enter my tool info -Tlchange- then choose -mill- -pocket- -setup- here you will enter the pocket information, depth, feedrates. Then you choose your pocket geometry -circl- or -rec- and then choose if you want to start in the center of the pocket and -clear- your way out or if you want to take a -Fin- pass on the outside of the pocket.

Sent you a PM with info. Also, if your in MDI you can pull up all the G and M code that pertain to the machine. In MDI mode, F1 will list all the G-codes and F2 will list all the M-codes.
