centurion6 doesn't shift to the 2nd speed.
Hi everybody.
I have a centurion6 control with a 2 speedmotor yaskawa.
My problem is centurion6 doesn't shift to the 2nd speed when i command a speed over 1500rpm.
I was searching in my parameters and i didn't find:
-Shift Spindle on Fly Yes for newer M5 spindle drives with 2 gear spindle motors. The spindle does not need to stop to shift.
-Electronic Spindle Gear Yes enables the shifting of electronics geared spindle drives.
I think i don't have the good parameters?
Are you agree with me?
Thank you for your help.

Hi.
I solved the trouble.
Centurion shift only with a M3 or M4 command.
Best regards.

If it doesn't need to stop to shift, it would be the only one I've ever seen. Wonder what a set of contacts look like after opening and closing with 20 amps at 220 v going through them. I know that every milltronics I've owned from 1992 through 2014 has had to stop to change speed ranges. Yaskawa, Mitsubishi or CSM, all have had to stop for me. Maybe you know something I don't, but I'll bet it has to see the zero speed output before changing range

Hi Allen mullis.
You are right. I misspoke. Before understanding how the command of the spindle works i started the spindle with the M3 and increased the speed slowly by s200, s400, s600......But for a command of speed beyond from 1500 rpm the spindle stayed on 1500 rpm. To increase the speed beyond from 1500 rpm centurion needs a new M3 or M4 command. Then the spindle stop and restart to the speed i commanded.
Best regards.
