Default How to add the hand wheel to a program

I want to program a move to XY, then be able to use the hand wheel to move Z up and down, and then program another XY move and repeat. I've just been using Jog and distance but that is a lot of typing.
Is there a way to program in the handwheel? Studying the manual I was going to try using G78 (manual bore) but my Centurion 6 SLS doesn't have that.

    Thanks

    Tim

Is it possible to add a M0 (non-optional stop) to the G code at the point that you want to manually run the Z?

Try programming and running in the 2 axis mode

If you have newer software yon can select "hand wheel run" as an option.

If in a text(M&G code) program type in HDW, in a conversational put the HDW on a misc line.
This will allow you move in handwheel and when you escape it will go back to the next program line.
