| I have one (VM-22) that is about 15 months old. Other than a leaky cabinet (they've since fixed it,) the machine is smooth, strong and seems to be quite accurate. The service from Milltronics is top notch too, if you have a question or problem they are VERY quick to help you out in anyway they can. Get the ABCD package discount if they're still offering it!

| My Shop Runs On Mostly Milltronics Vm-24 and Vm-30's, So far I would not go out of my way to buy another Vm-24, Mine has a lot of Carasale issues and goes through Z axis motors once a year. Also a lot of their parts have been discontinued, So poses a problem getting them up and running again from time to time. But as far as the Vm-30's I rarely have any problems out of them, and if I do, The parts are still easily accessible. Hope that this may help you on your decision. ^^ |

| I have an RH 30 with 5 axis tilting rotary that makes oilfield parts from 4140 most of the time. new July 2001. Machine has 23,000 + hours and can still hold 0.001 on a pocket mill with an endmill. Service is absoultly the best in the industry. Worked 4 years at Alcoa in central engineering and we had Mazak, Haas, MItsubshi, Hiedenhein, Fanuc, Seimens, and Hyundai easy key. None of these controls can stand in the shadow of the Centurion control for dependable easy to program right at the control, and run offline/ Master Cam or Gibbs programs. The best part of Milltronics is that they are not as large of a company as the other American mill manufacturer in Oxnard, and they will actually listen to you and build what you want or need. My sugestion would be bight the bullet and get all of the whistles and bells up front and make 2 or 3 extra payments and have the best you can get. Many Year of Happy Milling The Farmer. |
