Smile buy update

hi Farmer
your right I wasn't sure if cent 6 had that feature.

What is the cost of the up grade?
You are right about Conver. prog. I would rather chew my arm off than use g-code. Who wouldn't want just fill in the blanks!!!!!

Smile upgrade software

Milltronics phone # 952-442-1401 option 1 for service and they will direct you in proper direction. Have your Machine serial # ready because they keep really good records on their machines and will get you the propper up grade for your model. just like any computer things get better ever year so it would be a good idea to purchase upgrade software every 2 years or so if you are doing job shop work. it will allow your proven equipment to run with the new kid on the block. Dodge dem chips, cuts and burns get tuff on an ol man

Thumbs up New old mill

A big thanks mholden for posting the lessons. We just aquired a Milltronics Partner mill at work and I am anxious to try some programing. Many years ago I wrote G code for a Sharnoa (sp?) machine. The conversational method looks like it will be a lot nicer to use.

It was by far the best learning experience ever and worth 10 times what it cost.
I have a vm 16 mill and have learned to run it with mc9. I keep hearing that the conv programming is very versitile. Glad to finally hear from someone who has been to the school.

I can't keep from thinking what the benefit will be using the conversational features of cent7 over mastercam???

Any thoughts would be apreciated.

Thanks
