are you using peck drill, feed in and rapid out, wood pecker drill? I had to take the Z axis backlash out of the control to make my RH 30 quit hanging up. As long as it was programmed in Milltronics Conversational, it worked OK but the same style of drill in Gibbs Cam caused it to lock up.

    Good Luck

Hi Plast 474, This sounds like a "in position" error. The control is set up for :not running the nest line of cone" unless the following error falls below .005. This could be a drive error or a mechanical error. ( bad bearings or some other mechanical "binding" the does not allow the "true position" to be " feed" back to the control. look at the following error, when this happens. ( F1(prams) (f1 (setup) F1 (level) enter proto3 <enter> access level 3 escape back to the main menu. enter display, "error" this shows the "following error". if it is at .005 or above, we need to trouble shoot why it is hanging up. ( drive / motor/ mechanical etc.
