Bob, Looked in the controls box and just see one K/B board and took the the front off the machine and took the K/B off. There must be another board inside of the main control in the lower panel and I looked on friday and could not see how to access it with a regular computer keyboard. You would thenk that there would be an economical board for this and not cost 340.00 for this small board...Holy smokes....I put this board in a antistatic bag and should have had an antistatic wrist sling but didn't think of it but always touch the side of the case anyways. I hope to meet a local guy here tomorrow and hoping he can check this board out. Thanks for the help, Glen Cutcher Hawkeye Mfg 716 254 4099 |

Bob , I tried calling this local guy several times but he's never returned my call so maybe he does not want to be bothered but I really need to try and get my lathe up an running and do it as economically as I can so if you know of anyplace that rebuilds this PC-KYBENC-02 board I'd appreciate it. I have called a few places and they are all 250.00. Thanks, Glen |

I have a Miltronic ML14 Centurion V with a floppy drive and I am getting a hardware error when I try to load or download programs. Floppies are not the greatest things to use anyways and would like to use a thumb drive. Also where can I find a vedio card to upgrade my control to a LED flatscreen monitor. Yah I know I am trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear here...LOL...Any help is greatly appreciated my friends! Thanks, Glen |

Hi Hawkeyemfg, I have posted this info before. follow this thread back http://www.cnczone.com/forums/milltr...gram_size.html All but the earliest C5 controls use a VGA output. Find a display that accecpts a standard VGA signal. However putting a LCd display on the front panel is better then having one sit on top of the enclosure. It still makes it hard to program and use the key pads and F keys. Having a new display mounted inside will make the front panel easier to work with. See the attached pictures for a before and after example. If interested in the internal LCD display please PM me. Sportybob |

| I used a 12" VGA monitor from ebay and it filled the hole in the panel nicely, gives the same size display as the CRT was. I have yet to make a new bezel to hide the mounting holes, but here is what it looks like: I work from a wheelchair and needed the whole control panel lower: ![]() And a closeup of the screen itself: |
