I went to turn my machine on yesterday to do some machining. When I hit the "reset" button then the home button, the machine homed in all axis except the X. It gave an error and shut the servos down. I had to hit the "reset" button several times before the servos came back on. Every time I hit the "reset" button it gave the 450 error like when you first turn the machine on. The only way I could get the machine to finish homing was to stand to the side of the table and push against it with all my weight as it was homing in the x axis and then it finished the cycle. Tried it again today and the same thing happened. If I push against the table then it will finish the homing cycle. Everything seems to be working fine. Any ideas? Thrust bearing on ball screw? Limit Switch? Encoder?
