Intrigued by the networking, ok, any recommendations for NIC cards? I have all ISA slots on my motherboard, so looked on ebay and was able to find some ISA ethernet cards.... anything to look for or stay away from, or are they all pretty much the same.... remember, I'm not that up on the computer stuff, especially what is/was useable on 20 year old PC's.
Then from what I understand I have to use software to set up the network client, would that come with the card if I buy a new one from like Netgear or someone like that? If not, again, any recommendations as to what to use? No need to find out option A doesn't work when there might be options to go with that you already know work....
A question in the operation of this, if networked, will the Milltronics computer always look to the hard drive of the network for programs then? I'm not running the programs from the network, just using the network to up/down load them, correct? This would just be a way to up/down load and not tether permanently the Mill computer to the network computer.... probably idiot questions here, but not my area of strength.
