| what are the connectors like ? it could be an old AT power supply ,if you can't get another you may be able to use a new ATX power supply by using your old connectors on the new supply John Last edited by john_100; 08-27-2011 at 07:25 PM. Reason: add ATX connections |

Can you show a wiring diagram on changing the connectors? I looked for an adapter to do this same thing. Atx power supplies are common but At supplies are harder to find now Thank you for your time |

| Hi tpmx57 do you have an old AT power supply you can take the two 6 pin connectors off? I'm not sure of US component suppliers but in the UK Maplin Electronics sell both the 20 pin ATX plug and sockets you could make your own adaptor ATX Motherboard Power Connectors : Motherboard Power Connectors : Maplin while looking on ebay for connectors i have found this :- ATX to AT power supply adaptor kit | eBay I'll add a diagram later John PS if your new ATX power supply has a 24 pin connector you can use a 20 pin plug if you make your own adaptor you don't need to connect to pins 11, 12, 23 and 24 Last edited by john_100; 08-28-2011 at 09:09 AM. If you have a machine that has a CRT you will need the "extra" 110VAC plug that AT type power supplies have. If you have an LCD display you could modify a ATX to work. You will also have to modify (add the wiring that goes to the NCB board. It is that 4 pin connector attached to ends of some of the wires comming out of the power supply. If you do not want all that messing around with the wiring call Milltronics parts 952-442-1418. Be up and running in 1/2 hour after the part arrives. UPS ground is 2 days to Detroit. Sportybob |

did you check the voltages? +5, -5 +12, -12? what are they reading? when you installed the power supply, what type? At or ATX? did the 2 connectorers to the mother board get installed correctly? the black wires on each connector to the center? If all is OK, try conecting an external monitor dirctly from the VGA connector on the mother board and see if you get video. Sportybob |

| The computer or machine appears to be waiting for a signal from somewhere to continue with start up procedure. The monitor is waiting for a video signal fron the computer. The green led on the floppy works also. It just appears to be in limbo. |
