I have an old milltronics BR50. i have been fighting with this thing for about a month and finaly just got the thing tuned. I was fixing to runs some test programs and the z card fried again. i am thinking about replacing all the servo drives and cards in it, but i can't seem to find any info on the specs for the servos. pleas help and thank ahead for any info Last edited by hyperlite83; 07-11-2011 at 11:58 PM. |

| That machine likely has Yaskawa drives and motors. Go to Yaskawa America, Inc., Drives & Motion Division where you can find all the manuals you want. |

Hyperlite83, here is a link to where you can get the CSM / BRU drives / motors repaired. Repair / Refurbish and Replacement from Custom Motors, Inc. These "guys" are some of the orginal CSM / BRU people, after going thru several company buy outs, they branched out on thier own. Milltronics used the CSM / BRU type motor / drives for VMD-30, BR-50 / 80, P8-9 machines. They eventually went to Yaskawa for all machines motors and drives. These were big 100+ in/lbs motors. The machine can be retro-fitted with Yaskawa drives. The "how to would depend on the control that you have on your machine, either a C5 or a C6 control. If interested please PM me. Sportybob |
