Hi guys, I have a milltronics with a centurion V control, here is my problem, when I punch in a nice short program like just a drill hole, I have to press pause and resume and cycle start and flood make it go step by step, there is no error just stops after every command, also I noticed that a g54 command will make go bunkers, can any of you guys help please, the program will not run full auto. I am using bobcad/cam with fanuc o post processor. I also noticed the cancel star comes on...
sounds like it is in single block mode.
Could you include a copy of the code in a post?
It will help to see the actual commands the control is trying to process.
Ok, frist pic is from machine is running and program is hung up, second is pic of program, when I press the block button it turnes dark and I can't get the machine to move even with pause and resume...???? All three program stopping buttons are light in color when frist rebooting and running.

If you hit display error what is your following error wen the machine stops?
The problem maybe the axis is not in position.
Is the A axis connected and working?
If not, the axis may be drifting and the control is waiting for it to get back to position.
As Mark suggests, look at the following error display to check. You may also change the Following Error parameter to a 0 (zero) to force the control to not care if it drifts.
I do not follow, there is no error, timer is still running but machine will not move to next step till I press f9 pause then resume then it will go to next step, ???
Ok guys, I unpluged the A axis and now the machine is working, how do I fix this so it will work with a axis pluged in?
PG
check the following error by going to display (F6) Error (F4) this will disply the drive "following" error rate. If the following error does not fall back to below .005 then the control will wait untill it does before continueing on with the next programmed move. This could just be a drive adjustment.
Call Miltronics tech support. they should help you with the procedure.
BIG THANKS GUYS, Everything working now...![]()
