Partner I E retention knobs or pull studs

I recently purchased a Partner I E Milltronics mill and the tool holders had 45 degree pullstuds in the holders. Does anyone know if this machine should run the 45 or 60 degree angle pull studs? I tried to fit a 60 in there and it seems to fit a bit better without making marks on the angle of the pullstud. Is the 60 degree the proper one for this make and model?

    Thanks,

    Chizel

Yes, the 60 degree retention stud is correct.

Milltronics has used the 60 degree studs on both the CAT and the BT tool holders.
