I have a shot at getting Milltronics VK-3. I was told to also look at a Tormach for comparison, but the Milltronic machine seems far more sturdy. Does the VK-3 have any known weaknesses that need to be addressed, like undersized ball screws, unavailable electronics, incompatible software, etc? Does anyone know how it stacks up to something like the Tormach? As a newbie to cnc, what limitations would there be regarding CAD? I would like to design something on a laptop with my choice of CAD, then download it to the VK-3 ..... is this easy (or even possible) to do? |
