I figure Go BIG or Go HOME! ; )

It is cast silicone, not injection, but yes, fun to figure out. The part design was wrong - total screw up on my part. The OD size should have been the ID...

Nice work Mike! Very impressive, hopefully there will be some video out of that work. My machine spindle is still not worked out, the max speed it will reach is 3300rpm, haven't heard a thing from Phil in a month or so. I would call but what's the point, I'll just get more obfuscation. If he knew what was wrong with his board he would fix it. My intuition says he knows it has a problem, doesn't know what it is or how to fix it, doesn't want to invest the money in figuring it out, and will blow smoke and do whatever he can to delay buy time with the customer until they can figure something out. Bummer, I am anxiously awaiting a 3rd party control board so I can be done with Mikini. I haven't had much time to do much on the machine because of another project I was working on, and it happened to finish a little earlier than expected. Check it out, I think it's my best work yet:

Thanks for the info Mike! I will try that and see. Am also talking to Phil about it right now. Like I said, he is coming here soon, and I hope to spend a few hours with him going over the machine and Mach. I will post anything I learn for all to benefit.

    Again, Mahalo!

Nice work on your build SWATH.

Also good work on the mold Mike pretty neat.

I have been messing with my mill more lately since I have finished with my 3D printer project. I need to do some test cuts when I get home today.
