Need help identifying this instrument. It has no name plate but has Carl Zeiss on the removable parts. I bought this from a C/L sale but got no manual. The person I bought it from thought it was a optical comparator but from a pic I found of another instrument similar to this, but not exactly, I think it is a toolmakers microscope. Any help on identifying this and leading to a manual would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. The box to the left is the power supply. I don't need it but it will be nice to have once I figure out how to use it.Was hoping someone here could shed some light.
