    machining armor plate

Hello. I am a new member. I may be machining some armor plate soon. The parts are 1/4 inch thick and wil be laser cut. there will be some .218 diameter holes laser cut in it as well. I will need to countersink these holes , machine a 7.5 degree bevel on on end , and drill a .385 +.005/-0 hole on a 68 degree angle thru. I was planning on doing this on a manual bridgeport mill. I have never machined this material before , any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a job laser cut the profile(1018 steel) and then mill around the profile to get to size .Well every where the laser cut the the surface was 70 rockwell about .04 deep . Ate up about twice the money in carbide end mills than the job paid. Armor plate good luck.
