Oil mist for cutter lubrication

We have a Johnford SHV-1000 with a 24k spindle. It has a oil mist system for the cutting tools that was installed aftermarket. I was wondering what type of oil people are using in their misting systems.

Hi, don't breathe the mist from that system or you'll be coughing blood years later.

If'n you intend to use a misting coolant system also use an extraction system too.....very important for your continued health.
