Really need some help with engine cylinder bore - Nikasil plating

We have some cylinders to be produced and we need to determine the most cost effective measure for them. We have looking at Nikasil plating in the US and it can cost over 100/bore which is over our target price for a finished bore. We have not priced sleeves yet so not sure how much they might be in quantities of 50-100.

Curious if you guys are familiar with new technology or have some over seas resources for plating? Possibly a higher performance sleeve? We are trying to hold cost down so we need to find an economical solution. Guess cost of a sleeve could dictate what we do but we need to at least meet the performance standard for Nikasil in hardness, wear, etc.

anyone? Seems it has been looked at before but there has to be others that do this work. We have looked at the big 5 in the US but I am sure there are more. We Re even willing to look outside the US if need be.
