Laurel, Maryland - like to learn, but just a hobby

Am I alone out here in the wilderness between DC and Baltimore? No classes I can find, darn few people that aren't doing this professionally on high-end machines - I just want to learn what it can do and I'm frustrated with the books.

Anybody around?

I on the other hand can rise above mediocre on a good day. LOL.

Welcome to the Zone and great job on the first post. Sometimes breaking the ice and getting that first post in is the hardest.

I am in CT which is a ways from where you are but we are as close as the nearest computer.
