I am just getting into CAD/CAM work and would like a mentor to help with the learning curve. I currently have items that I am working on in the gun/weapon space for a new company I started.
I have a Fadal VMC4020 and have started to use BobCAD v21. I am not sure that I am tied to BobCAD and may consider other software.
I would really like to find someone that can show me how 3D CAD can help in the machining process instead of just drawing everything in 2D for each milling hold.
I am a quick study and do most of my work in the evenings and weekends, as I have a full-time job. Not looking to suck the life out of someone, just someone who enjoys CAD, machining and wants some gratification by helping someone else grow.
If my company takes off, it could work into a long term gig!

Gee thanks for the great insight! I thought if I made that post someone would come and do all the work for me!
I was putting this post out there to see if I could connect with some local people; I think that is the purpose of this forum?!?
Thanks for registering today, just so you could enlighten me!
