Like everyone else I'm building a all aluminum gantry frame 3' x4' CNC router 3 axis. I will me routing mostly hardwoods like maple,cherry etc. My plan is to use my 3.25hp porter cable. #23 steppers at 295oz. All bar linear motion and roton ball screws &nuts. I'm looking for a mentor mostly with software and my setup. Anybody willing to help me out will get free beer!
