    Looking for other CNC'ers in NY

    Im building my first CNC router from a HobbyCNC kit with Mach3/CamBam and would like to share ideas or meet with other members who are also starting out or have already built and can offer advice. Im located in downstate NY zip 10598 (Hudson Valley) about 30 miles north of manhatten. Thanks and Happy New Year, Vinny

    Hi Vinny, I am in Simsbury CT which isn't that far away if we needed to get together. I have started getting together with some other guys and you would be welcome to join us.
    We will be meeting this month sometime. If you are interested, I will let you knowwhen and where. I think we will be in southern Mass. this time at a members shop.

    I am a Mach3 user and have built 1 router and retro-fitted my cnc mill.

    I am getting ready to do my lathe conversion.

    I use VIA cad for the drawings and I then use Deskcnc to do my cam work. It woks well for me as I already own the software.

    I'm in Manhattan on Upper East Side. Have a CNC Servo'd TAIG, 7x12 manual lathe and a lot of sheetmetal fab equipment... Always open to meeting up with folks
