Well I've been lurking for a long time here and finally decided that I want to build my very own CNC machine. I'm looking for like minded hobbyist in the local area. I'm in Newport News but anyone in Hampton Roads is better than nothing. I still seem to have more questions than answers.

A little about me. I am a software programmer. I do C#, ASP.NET, and various other web related projects currently but am fluent in C++ as well. Just haven't used it in a while. I'm also a hobbyist wood worker with a semi nice setup. Though it needs serious cleaning as we speak.
