Hi I'm looking for guidance from someone in my area. I have a small hobby shop where I repair antique clocks, watches and lots of misc stuff. I have antique tools and machines that I augmented about 6 years ago with a sherline mill and lathe. I converted the mill to CNC about three years ago but have had just about every problem in the book with regard to CNC. Although I've been making many of my parts for sometime manually with success I was only using the CNC abilities for the less demanding pieces as problems with electrial niose have caused me considerable trouble. I'm now rebuilding my controller in a metal box with new shielded cables and a number of other refinements I've found on the web. I could use alittle hands on direction for automating my gear cutting, arbor turning and plate drilling processes. I use Auto cad, visual mill and Mach2. Regards Quamit |
