Hi Dan, this is Cat, found somebody?

I too could use some help... currently I'm trying to build a small CNC router/mill, and I feel like there are a lot of places where I can go wrong :-)

    Hey Cat,

It seems Dan has been gone for some time. I never got an answer to my PM....
Do you mind if I take a look at your setup? I live in Calgary.

    Let me know!

I don't have a setup... I'm trying to build something... maybe a PCB router, maybe a small mill... I just bought this: http://www.houseoftools.com/product.htm?pid=187674 to start with, but feel that maybe it's too heavy...

    Do you have/know CNC?

    Cat

I have been studying these machines for some months now because I wanted to open a shop in Mexico with my sister. But I have never put one together. I know the computer part of numeric control, but never done any cuts.

The one I like the most is torchmate because of the flexibility you get if you want to scale it up in size.

But it pretty much depends on the application you have in mind.
