Hi everyone, I'm a signcrafter looking to build a cnc router table. I will need (I guess) a 3 axis of at least 4'X8' (5'X10' would be luxury). I would like to know if there are kits that I could build at home ? I'm from Saint-Jean sur Richelieu Qc. I'm a welder by profession and build/troubleshoot/fly R/c Helis, and I'm quite resourceful. I am equiped for welding.

Any help will be appreciated !

We probably know some of the same people, I flew for 2 years at club Mars.
Can you give me some help in choosing what cnc router table to buy.

Haha been to mars a few times, a few scary people there.....

I don't know what table i'd buy, i know if things keep up like this i will eventually have to buy a "real" table for now i got 2 diy's running...

FWIW, I have a bench type milling machine running with MachII and servos on Gecko 320's, still on the steep part of the learning curve though.

Hey eloggica, what software are you using to run your machine? Are you using tool length offsets? I would really like to see a demo as to how to do this properly, before I drill holes in my table!!
