Looking for some milling experience in Hawaii (Oahu) | | I'm new to all of this, I was an AutoCad user back in the floppy-based run days. I'm interested in milling small R/C helicopter parts, but need to learn the fundamentals of milling/etc first. Very computer literate, networking/programming/etc - I own a data center here in Hawaii. I just lack the machining skills!
I'd be interested in spending some time with someone who has a mill (even non-cnc) willing to work with me in learning the trade. I'm not available during 0600-1800, but any other time is fine. I'd be glad to churn out parts for other projects you might have, and I will furnish my own material so the cost to you is only your time. I've got to get started somewhere, but I don't want to dump 5-20k on a mill without even knowing what I'm getting into!
Thanks,
David |
