I would like to build a small CNC router for projects and fun. Is there anyone out there that could act as my online tutor to help me through the process? I want to be frugal....but not cheap. I want my unit to be of good quality. I am just as interested in the process of building as I am running the thing when I'm done. Thanks for your consideration Cutloose |

| There's a ton of people here that will help you out. Just start asking questions in the DIY wood router section.

| I'd be glad to help. 3 years experience with diy-cnc. Just finalising a huge scratch-built cnc mill with bridgeport spindle. Email hanermo@amorco.com or hvenermo@yahoo.com I can guide you in all aspects, from parts, pieces, where-to-buy, what to pay, make some kit parts for you if needed, electronics, breakout boards, psu, etc. I'm know writing a book on home-shop cnc and will make my living from it. All I ask is references - I need a few good references for my kit parts business, so I willl make sure everyone is very satisfied. Where are you ? What size ? What do you want to cut ? Best Hannu If you're interested, drop me an email. |
