Been in read-only mode here for a few months. Just took the plunge and bought a small desktop machine from John at microcarve, and a Gecko 540 driver/motor kit from Ahren at cncrouterparts.com. Machine is functional, and eventual goal is larger machine to carve and cut larger 2D items.

Little CNC experience, but lots of computer/IT experience.

Located in the Greensboro, NC area, and looking for ways to make this machine pay for itself over time...
