Syracuse NY; looking for job & advice

I've been in the industrial sector for over 20 years, and was laid off from a tool room job recently. I'm hoping that someone in my area could help me network into a job, or at least advise me on a few things such as organizations which may have job openings, etc.

I have a varied work history, and have machining, design, inspection, autocad drafting, supervisory, and purchasing experience (among other things), but my CNC experience is limited to the ownership and programming of a small 3 axis vertical mill and a CNC grinder which I built. I took an internet programming course, and would like to continue with this type of education.

I'd appreciate any and all advice/leads anyone would provide, and would hope to make some contacts in the local manufacturing community.

    Thank you,
    Tom
